I already explained that I do not use commercial shampoos anymore and make my own Rhassoul shampoo, and that it was a revolution for my hair.
And I told you about my rinsing mixture. And I know, it’s a bit weird to have a rinsing mixture. Well, it felt weird for me at first. But I think my hair now says thanks (at least my self-esteem now says thanks).
So here is the recipe (adapted to my hair type: dry, thick, capricious, light brown -or dark blond?):
An hour before doing your shampoo, infuse chamomile in a bowl with boiling water (I confess I use a an organic herbal tea instead of the flower… but I think it would be better – and a lot cheaper!). Once it is cold (yes, this is why I said an hour before your shampoo – you can also do it the day before or whenever you want…), add a little bit of cider (or apple) vinegar.
You can put the liquid in a bottle (I use an old bottle of white vinegar) so it is easier to use.
And once you’ve done rinsing your hair from your shampoo, hop!, you rince with this magic mixture. Don’t rince with waterward! It would lost its interest…
Be carefull with your eyes! It stings!
Chamomile is supposed to bring out blonde highlights. I think it works. And vinegar makes it silky … Classy, right?
And you, do you have specific technics for pretty hair? Have you try this one? What did you think?
NB : I recall that this is all about my own researches and experimentations. I am not a shampoo or hair professional, nor a scientist.
